Love this Oyster
"Excellent salinity, nice meaty texture, perfect size for eating raw, meaty and mellow. Easy to shock and would definitely get again."
Your oysters keep in the refrigerator for 5-7 days! You can order a day or two early to make sure you have them in time for your gathering. They are totally fine hangin’ out in the cool air.
When you receive your package, pull them out of the box (these guys need a little fresh air!). Grab a mixing bowl and throw the mesh bag in the bowl so that the oysters don’t leak all over your refrigerator. Grab a damp cloth and throw the cloth over the bowl. You are good to go for the next 5-7 days. Doesn’t hurt to dampen the cloth each day to keep them moist and chilled.
Only put the oysters on ice before service. The oysters will actually die in the melted fresh water so do not store the oysters on ice. They will not like this.
We ship using FedEx Overnight service. You will receive tracking info after the label has been printed the day before your oysters are set to arrive. We do not require a signature – Fedex will leave your package at your doorstep.

"These oysters are the "just right" balance of salinity and sweetness in the meat itself. Easy to shuck and even easier to eat. A 5 star yum!"
"These oysters were of good size and fairly easy to open. Particularly briny but in a good way. On the whole they tasted like the ocean - pretty good."
"Fantastic, flavor was excellent for an oyster this size. Please notify me when these come back into the rotation."
"As advertised, they're big bruisers, meaty and delicious, with lots of liquor. And not too difficult to shuck. I'd order them again."
"Big, meaty, very briny. I’m not normally a fan of grilled oysters, but some did go on the grill, and these on the grill were the best I’ve ever had."
"We have never received a bad oyster from Island Creek. These were very tasty! The only issue was they were extremely difficult to open - and I am an excellent experienced shucker."
"These oysters were good size, easy to shuck, and nice medium to deep cups full of a nice briney kiss of the sea. I prefer my oysters on the briney salty side and these met that."
"Some were amazing. Some were very small and some were withered and dry."
"There was at least a dozen that were either empty or rotten. We cooked them the day after they showed up and always stayed cool. I think I would try my luck with a different batch next time. The flavor was great on the rest of them I just don’t like wasting money getting that many bad ones"
