"Some friends and I vacationed in South Carolina and had 150 oysters delivered to out VRBO! I ordered three different kinds and we had a little feast! The Buttercups were the winner! Delicious! (Some of the Island Creeks were dry with no brine at all. I tossed those…) But the rest were amazing. Love your customer service and love how reliable you always are. Thank you so much for always providing such a delicious treat!!!"
"We ordered the oysters to celebrate a milestone anniversary. They arrived as promised and were amazing! I was also surprised to find the partnership mignonette seasoning between Island Creek Oysters and Spicewalla was available at a local chef center (and is also available on the Island Creek website). The seasoning was a perfect compliment! As a sidenote: we ordered from Island Creek once before and shipping was delayed a few days. The company stood behind their product and gave us a refund, which gave us confidence in ordering again. Thank you!"

"I’ve been ordering from Island Creek since 2019. The product is usually very high quality. The shipment of ICOS oysters that I had last weekend was subpar. Most of the oysters did not have liquor. Several had a substantial off flavor. We did not finish the 50 oysters that we had ordered."
"Hello Island Creek Team, Thank you for reaching out for feedback. I’ve ordered from you several times before and have always been impressed—including with this week’s order, which shipped on Wednesday and arrived promptly on Thursday with incredible service. They were packaged tight and were still very cool. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the oysters in this particular batch. When opened, they had very little liquor/juice, and about 5 of them (10%) had already opened in transit and had to be discarded. Given how much I usually enjoy your oysters, this batch fell well short of the usual standard. Thank you for listening, and I look forward to my next order. Best regards, Grover Allgood"
"Had never tried these and was very pleasantly surprised with their briny taste. Ate the whole sac with just a squeeze of lemon on each one. I did expect them to be a bit larger though and some were. I like large oysters and ordered these to try because Belon's are out of season and not available. We actually chew our oysters and appreciate a nice mouthful. I believe these will be my go to for occasional orders or some similar."
"I know these were larger ones, and they went well, however we had to throw 8 or so away due to rotten/crumbled and yellow umbo sections. Unsure if it was due to the larger batch (usually order small) but the shells weren't as great as usual."

"These were indeed large oysters! I found them a bit more difficult to open than regular ICOs. I needed a longer oyster knife. But they were briny and very tasty. We grilled about half of them with your suggestion of butter and tabasco. They were fabulous! We will probably go back to regular oysters for our next order but this was a new and fun oyster experience."
"We tend to order the Island Creek Oysters every time we get them shipped to us in California. They are always good. Love having a little bit of the East Coast over here in the West. I will always choose an East Coast oyster over a West Coast oyster"
