Your oysters keep in the refrigerator for 5-7 days! You can order a day or two early to make sure you have them in time for your gathering. They are totally fine hangin’ out in the cool air.
When you receive your package, pull them out of the box (these guys need a little fresh air!). Grab a mixing bowl and throw the mesh bag in the bowl so that the oysters don’t leak all over your refrigerator. Grab a damp cloth and throw the cloth over the bowl. You are good to go for the next 5-7 days. Doesn’t hurt to dampen the cloth each day to keep them moist and chilled.
Only put the oysters on ice before service. The oysters will actually die in the melted fresh water so do not store the oysters on ice. They will not like this.
We ship using FedEx Overnight service. You will receive tracking info after the label has been printed the day before your oysters are set to arrive. We do not require a signature – Fedex will leave your package at your doorstep.

"I have bought Crowes oysters three times for my oyster-loving dad who lives in a fly-over state. He says they are the best he has ever had. Perfect size oysters that are full of the best liquor. Christmas is right around the corner, Santa will be delivering more!"
"What a fabulous delicacy! We ordered Crows Pasture Oysters for our landlocked Midwestern friends as a Christmas gift, and they invited us over to share the bounty. These sweet-briny nuggets were just delicious. Can’t wait to send them more next Christmas 🎅"
"These oysters were an amazing addition to our NYE dinner party menu and paired wonderfully with mignonette or enjoyed by itself. Many of the reviews were spot on: strong briny flavor with a smooth finish, plenty of oyster liquor, and meats that filled up the entire shell regardless of variations in size. As mentioned by others, these were easy to shuck. We have ordered from Island Creek Oysters for a couple of years but never from this farm before. Definitely will again next time they’re offered seasonally - every oyster was absolutely perfect!"
"I have an annual birthday tradition of ordering oysters from Island Creek and every year they do not disappoint. These were beautiful, sweet oysters, and every one a good one. These shipping service is superb and the product always the best. I’d buy oysters locally if I could but the quality from island creek is just unbeatable."
"These were top 3!"
"Beyond perfect. Thank you so much!!!! What a special NYE treat!"
"We will order again!"
"Really enjoyed these. Taste like the sea"
"Delicious! only negative some are quite small"
"We've been a very satisfied customer for several years. These were exceptional!!! They were plump and juicy, sweet with a little brine. With just two of us, we ate them raw several times, but with about 1 1/2 dozen left, fried them for Po-Boys. I usually hate to fry your oysters, because they are such a treat raw, but this is where Crowes Pasture Oysters shined. I do the cooking, not the shucking. I was amazed at the oysters I had to cook with!!! We had sandwiches with beautifully fried individual oysters. . . . . not the pieces/parts that sometimes happens. And they remained plump and juicy. Definitely will BOLO for these."
